For this August, 2 of the biggest events for Malaysian fall on the same day! So, it's the time for LSN to have a big celebration with our loyal sewing partners who have been supporting us for years. Also, LSN would like to take this opportunity to make more new friends on this extraordinary occasion.

Raya is the time for sharing and also a season of giving back. LSN would like to take this opportunity to reward our valued customers. Discounts up to 50% on selected items will be given throughout the promotion period.

Date: 23rd & 24th July 2011 (Saturday & Sunday)

Time: 9 a.m. - 6 p.m.
Venue: LSN Cheras Premise

ALL sewing lovers are invited to join us for the Raya and National Day celebration. LSN would like to take this opportunity to share with you some new and interesting sewing techniques (Quilting demonstration & Portrait Embroidery demonstration).

Besides, there will be a 'talk' by our sewing class teacher on 'how to make a baju kurung'. Visitors get to know the basic sewing techniques and also functions of all displayed machines in our show room.

Each family will be given a packet of Raya Cookies upon arrival and there will be LUCKY DRAW of Green Packet with exciting prizes (CASH/ Discount Vouchers/ Fabulous Sewing Basket) upon registration.

Designing Contest open for our Sewing Partners

'Design your own Fashion & Decorations Contest'

Theme: Raya + Merdeka

Closing date: 26^th August 2011 (We have extended the closing date to: 31^st October 2011)

Raya is all about SHARING; Merdeka is the time where all Malaysians celebrate together. So, for all sewing partners of LSN out there, SHARE your thoughts with us! We would like to see your design and sewing skills.

The contest will be divided into TWO categories, 'Fashion' and 'Home Deco'. Contestants will be judged on creativity and quality of finished art piece.

For the Fashion category, it is all about your creativity on how do you design or customize new clothing or fashion accessories using SEWING techniques; participants are required to sew Kid's clothing or Handbag for this Raya. Participants are not restricted on the design; you can be as creative as you wish. Impress and surprise us with your creativity!

As for the Home Deco category, this is how you design your house decoration using SEWING techniques. Participants are required to sew home decorative items such as: pillow/ cushion/ curtain valance/ curtain tie-back/ table cloth. Show us your creative idea how will you make your home as fancy as possible for this Raya!

- Contestants are required to download the Contest Form from LSN's Official Website.

- Contestants are allowed to enter one or both categories.

- 5 best designs from each category will be selected.

- Result will be announced on the 18th November 2011 in our Official Website.

- Winners will be invited to our 'Gathering of SEWmates' (the upcoming event of LSN); prizes will be given on that day.
